3D Movies

So like the guy in the video says, trying to demo 3D technology on 2d technology is like trying to show color movies on a B&W TV. However this video explains how the camera(s) work a little bit and it looked pretty cool. I'm looking forward to trying out the technology.

Merry Christmas Faces!
Hope everyone has a good one.

So we all know that In the Name of the King is just another Uwe Boll shitfest, but... why do I see so many good actors in it?

How badly must they need money to act in this?

Through the Fire and Flames

I think you all remember this kid ripping a GH2 song to pieces, at some points without even looking at the screen. Well he's back with GH3.

9 year old beats through the fire and flames - Watch more free videos

In other news, there is silver lining at the end of the dark cloud of Hollywood. Jessica Simpson's new movie "Blond Ambition" grossed $384 on Friday. You read that correctly. It made THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FOUR DOLLARS. That means a massive 48 people went to see her new movie, and you know 24 of them were pussy whipped boyfriends.

Edit: Heres a new version of the trailer for "Hancock" which I put up on my blog but apparently YouTube took that version down. Hopefully this one will stay up. Like i said before, I'll check this one out in theaters.

Two in one day

My brother's best friend just got engaged.

I think I'm going to cry now.

Well Shit...

The day after I leave DC something interesting happens.

I can see this building from my dorm. I walk by it all the time. Its actually my favorite building in DC because it's not, you know, white marble trying to be neo-classic. It's ugly and it's proud.

They've been doing construction on it too. Bet that's how the fire started.

I think I just got a little teary. I'm still cool with making babies though. But I guess if I'm going to go big or go home, know that my home will always be open to anybody who needs a meal, a place to sleep, or just a lil love.

PS - Ed's Stephen Hawking... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Good posts guys. Steve whenever we move into an apartment I'm 150% behind the ball pit idea.

To robs post as well....cause well you know... now lets all do it for fucks sake

And I do mean for fucks sake. I have had my part in doing something for the greater good for a wile, and after trust me I really miss being able to effect something in a big way or leave your mark in various aspects of work or social behavior or the world as a whole. Yes it is my goal to become stricklty an IT but being an IT for a company that would shape the world like google is a way I would love to make my mark. Being politically active also, going to rallies educating myself or finding some way to understand the system of human behavior and society as whole to try and change something for the greater good are all true dreams of mine. I was in a band and even thou it was not the best music, I still had hopes of joining others together and got damn close, not for popularity purposes but perhaps as an experiment in unity and spreading a message in the truest form or social revolution. The only way I believe I can make an external mark is first by overcoming our personal selves, that is my short term goal or leaving a mark.

To rob's post cause I don't have my own blog...

...and Ed uses his like he's Stephen Hawking and its the only way he can speak.

I don't really want to leave my mark by making movies or games or anything like that, I want to leave my mark by making everyday life better for people. Either making some hard part of someone's day easier, or just being that one good person who picks up their own fucking garbage when the one janitor is surrounded by rich inconsiderate assholes. (yeah the mall made me think of that, but I'm not just talking about that)

And whats another way to make everyday life better? If you know me, you know I like big things. Ridiculous things. Go big or go home things. Huge Rooster things. You all know what I'm talking about, I've come up with a million cool ideas that we've never done, but I really want to do them. I don't even want credit, I just want to know that when I hear "Woah that was insane!" I was behind it. ImprovEverywhere.com? That whole site is my dream. The Mp3 experiment, Moebius, The surprise party, those things are amazing. This comic (minus the mutilation). Did everyone hear the story of how xkcd put a date in a comic about meeting someone and when that date came, thousands of people showed up to the place, with nothing but the thought of "I wonder...." The story is here for those who don't know.
And come on, I went to the blag to find that link and the first thing I see is this: "Fuck new couches. I now have a ball pit in my room."

Another fun link I found - "Upside-down-ternet"

So yeah, good question Rob.
But I still want to know what the hell the whole "embargo" thing was about. That was really just a strange arrangement of words.

Good Times

Ahhh Steve remember the Wii launch last year? Good times.

...oh wait... that photo isn't from the launch last year. Oh right.

THAT'S THIS WEEK.

Fucking crazy.

So I watched this last night...

I want those chimney thigh highs. And everything else they're wearing. Last night when I was having sex dreams, I was wearing that shit. Oh and Steve, you were an allergist who gave away lots of drugs to hot girls.

So, um...

Rich gave me the thing where you can track visitors to the blog. (Love my tech speak!) We've had visitors from San Francisco, India, and Milton Keynes in the UK. (I laughed at that, cuz I've read Good Omens too many times.)

Anyway... babble babble... if you're visiting, and you didn't go to high school or play online games with any of us... say hi! We like new people... sorta.

EDIT: My roommates are going to Africa! And they're blogging about it!

Bad news Steve

Apparently Xbox World Magazine got their hands on "Army of Two" before it got delayed and this is what they have to say about it:

"As it stands, Army of Two is a juvenile swear-fest with clumsy controls, a story apparently penned by a seven year old who hates them ay-rabs, laughable level design that tosses you into a cut-scene every thirty seconds, sub Perfect Dark Zero graphics and the two least likable characters in gaming history. We'd rather play as a Bubsy the Bobcat/Raiden from Metal Gear Solid tag-team than these two douchebags. The delay is a stay of execution. It has four months to get even vaguely good. Hope for a miracle."

I might find myself waiting for reviews before I pick it up.

P.S. 6 minutes in and already female Shepard sounds more emotional than the male Shepard.

This just in...

Mass Effect is just as good, if not better the second time around. Just beat it.

How good you ask?

Well, lets just say I'll be starting the third go a little sooner than I planned... like right now.

Saturday, December 01, 2007

Dunno if its real or fake or whatever, someone can Wiki it, or even what the thing is based on, but its a good story, and I think if its fake its even better.
Frank, you are ten of the most boring people I know.
