Dead Space

I hope it turns out as scary as they make it out to be. What's notable here is that this trailer was directed by James Wan, the man who directed the very first "Saw". Never saw the movie so I can't vouch for his talent but I think it's really cool that we're at a point where film and video gaming is starting to blend.

I want to see Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) to direct a trailer for "Left 4 Dead" (Awesome upcoming zombie game). Maybe Romero directing a trailer for "Dead Rising 2"? A trend like that would be cool.

Who gives a fuck about trailers? Games need directors.

Except game directors and movie directors would be two completely different things.

yeah, I imagine they'd have more control than movie directors do, no studios and shit to deal with.

And "directing" a trailer? That sounds more like "editing"

Yeah. EA, and Microsoft and the like sound like they'd be controlling at all.

Actually it sounds like exactly what you wanted to do back then., just applied to a trailer instead of a cutscene. Going into the game. Capturing all the shots, and yeah, then editing. Directing a trailer.
